Heather Wanderers: The Song of Neris

This recording is presented as the surviving audio of a fictional television play, supposedly dated 1983. Only the soundtrack has survived, attributed to the travelling minstrel troupe Heather Wanderers and preserving the chronicle of Neris, Kael and King Older in the fictional coastal kingdom of Veremor.

As King Older sacrifices his daughter Neris to political duty, the sea carries a gravely wounded stranger named Kael to the secluded garden where she lives. Hiding his identity, Kael becomes part of a story of love, duty, betrayal and memory that gradually passes into legend.
